How do I find and book a tutor?

Use search filters to browse tutors by subject, grade, pricing, and availability. Select a tutor, choose a time slot, and submit your booking request.

When am I charged for a booking?

You are charged only after the tutor accepts your request and payment is completed through checkout.

What is your cancellation policy?

You can cancel from your dashboard. Refund eligibility depends on how close cancellation is to the session start time and other policy rules.

What is your refund policy?

Refund decisions depend on booking status, cancellation timing, no-show rules, and verified technical issues. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method and timing depends on your bank/provider.

Are tutors verified?

LearnHoop runs tutor screening and profile verification checks before tutors are listed. Verification status is displayed on tutor profiles where applicable.

How does messaging work?

Students and tutors can message through the dashboard to clarify goals, session setup, and scheduling details before or after booking.

How do password reset and account security work?

Use 'Forgot password' on sign-in to request a reset link. For security, reset links are time-limited and can expire.
